Workshop Content:
"This workshop is dedicated to the making of a 3D Multiplayer Computer Game having artificially intelligent bots using an open source game engine ‘BLENDER’.
The workshop also covers some basic concepts of Animation. After the workshop, students will be able to develop their own 3D & 2D First Person Shooting, Third Person Shooting, Real Time Strategy, Role Playing, Action/Fighting Game etc. "
Two Day workshop Schedule:
Day 1
Session 1 : Interaction with Blender software |
In this session, we will introduce Blender from the very basic, with blender interface, menus, screens, buttons, shortcuts etc. Apart from this we will also discuss basic game concepts, type of games etc.

Day 1
Session 2 : Creating basic Game Logic |
This session will deal with developing basic game logic, using virtual sensors, controllers and actuators. Basic game logic can be used in creating objects (creating enemy while increasing game level), controlling object using keyboard or mouse and in many more applications. This session will also deal with Camera, Lights and menus.

Session 3 : Developing artificially intelligent virtual bot |
This session will be dealing completely with Game-based Artificial Intelligence, creating your own autonomous bots that have the “search and destroy” aim only. We will also discuss adding sound files and menus in our game, in this session.

Session 4 : Assembling different parts in a single Game module |
In this session, we will assemble all the modules, objects, scenes and sounds created in previous sessions, together to create final game.
